Financial eligibility is determined by assessing your income and assets to see if you are below the limits set by the guidelines. Substantive eligibility is determined by assessing the type and merits of the legal issue. The Clinic reserves the right to terminate the provision of legal aid services to any client who is found to have obtained such services by providing false information during the financial and substantive eligibility assessment process.
